AI Assistant

The AI assistant is the fastest way to interact with Simplony. Instead of tapping through forms, just describe what you want in plain language.

Opening the assistant

Tap the sparkle icon in the header. On desktop it opens as a sidebar panel; on mobile it slides up from the bottom.

What you can ask

Look things up:

• "How much did I spend on dining out this month?"
• "What's my budget status?"
• "Show my upcoming reminders"
• "What debts do I have?"

Create things:

• "Spent 45 on groceries yesterday"
• "Set my dining out budget to 200"
• "Create a reminder for rent on the 1st"
• "I owe Jake 50 for lunch"

Transfers:

• "Transfer 100 from bank to cash"

Groups:

• "Add a 60 dinner to Trip to Rome, split equally"
• "Who owes whom in Apartment?"
• "Record a settlement from me to Alice for 25"

The approval flow

When the assistant wants to create or change something, it shows a confirmation card with the details. You can:

• Approve to save it.
• Deny with a correction — e.g. "make it 50 instead of 500" — and the assistant adjusts.

Voice input

Tap the microphone icon to dictate instead of typing. Recording auto-stops after 60 seconds, or tap stop when you're done.

Tips

• Use names directly. The assistant knows your categories, accounts, and debts — say "paid with Revolut" and it matches the right account.
• Follow-up chips appear after each answer for quick next actions.
• Be brief. "Coffee 4.50" works just as well as "I bought a coffee for 4.50 euros today".
