Investment Tracker
Monitor your net worth by tracking assets and their values over time.
The Investments page gives you a big-picture view of your financial health by tracking your net worth — what you own minus what you owe.
How it works
You manually add assets (savings accounts, investments, property, crypto, vehicles, etc.) and update their values over time. Simplony doesn't sync with banks or brokers — you're in full control of the data.
Adding an asset
- Go to the Investments page and tap Add asset.
- Enter a name (e.g. "Emergency Fund", "Tesla Stock"), asset type, current value, and optionally a quantity.
Updating values
Tap any asset to update its value. Each update is timestamped, so you can see how values change over time.
Net worth calculation
Net worth = total assets - total debts
Debts come from the Debts page (the ones you've marked as "I owe"). The Overview page also shows an investments summary when you have assets tracked.
Why track net worth?
Day-to-day spending tells you where money goes. Net worth tells you whether you're actually growing your investments. It's the number that matters most over years and decades, and watching it grow is surprisingly motivating.
Tips
- Include everything meaningful — savings, investments, property value. Skip small items like furniture.
- Don't obsess over precision. An approximate property value is better than leaving it out entirely.
